Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $8669.70 and can be paid in 10 monthly installments.

Schedule a Tour
Fill out an interest form here, or call us at 817-303-9143, to make an appointment to tour the school and participate in an enrollment interview. We request that only parents or guardians attend this interview along with the prospective student(s).

Enrollment & Registration
Should all parties choose to move forward, parents will be emailed an enrollment and registration packet. A family wishing to hold a spot for a future semester (if space is available) must pay a non-refundable deposit to hold their space. This deposit will be credited towards the student’s first monthly tuition installment.

Trial Week
After touring the school, completing an enrollment packet, and paying a non-refundable registration fee of $200 per child, prospective students will participate in a 5 attended days trial week, meaning they must have attended five full days of school before their trial week is over, but don’t worry! Your student has 14 school days to complete the trial week.

During the trial week, prospective students gain a better understanding of how their days at FWSS will look. They have the opportunity to experience how a democratic school feels and sounds, as well as how our community interacts with and supports each other. We expect students to spend a great deal of time playing games, talking with peers, and getting to know the basic rules and procedures of our school.

Become an Official Member of the FWSS Community
Upon completion of the trial week, all parties (FWSS, the prospective student, and their family) will meet to determine whether the prospective student will enroll as a full time student in the current or following semester. Upon mutual agreement for the prospective student to continue full time, active students will hold a ceremonial vote to officially welcome new students as official members of the FWSS community.
